I finally got my alpha blending thing to work, using the code from the Mr. Gamemaker tutorial, but it can''t detect my 3D card (err, either of them (I have a TNT2 and Voodoo2)) and the texture gets kinda pixelated. Anybody know what''s wrong with it? BTW, sorry about posting twice in 2 days about this thing, but I''m pretty sick of messing with it... You could just ignore me and make me fix it on my own if I''m too annoying^^ -Deku-chan "I''m dropping like flies!" - me, playing Super Smash Bros. About the second problem:
You should do this:
SetTextureStageState(0,D3DTSS_MAGFILTER,D3DTFG_LINEAR);
SetTextureStageState(0,D3DTSS_MINFILTER,D3DTFN_LINEAR);

Well, that smoothed it out a little, so it looks ok now, and it knows my 3D card is there now, even though I didn''t do anything. Maybe it just can''t handle 800x600 textures. Oh well, thanks for the help^^

Most cards can''t handle textures that are not a power of two in both dimensions.

Yea, but it''s set up to stretch it both ways in powers of 2 until it''s big enough not to get pixelated, so should''ve ended up being 1024x1024, but I think it''s 512x512 instead. I''ll try it in 640x480, so if it''s stretched horizontally, but not vertically, then that''s what it is.
