Hi all, I haven''t posted here for a while. It''s been a long time since I used OpenGL, so I wanted to know if they supported something new: Do you still have to have power of 2, square textures, or has someone finally implemented rectangular textures of any size? Please respond... this might mean my exodus from Direct3D. -- Goodlife ----------------------------- Those whom the gods would destroy, they first drive mad. --DirectX design team official motto

It can be rectangular but it has to be a power of 2.

if u use glTexSubImage2d(...) u can use any sized textures eg 123x321
with glTexImage2d(..) they have to be powers of 2 though u can use gluScaleImage to achieve this
