Remember the 3d-Visor revolution we had about 5 years ago. And the president got all worried about cyber sex. What happened to those 3d-Visors? I was curious if they really were like watching a movie w/ 3d-glasses. And has anyone programmed a game or application that used a 3d-visor?

Basically Head mounted displays are usually lo-res, and you need two viewports in your application, one slightly to the left of the other. DirectInput supports some of them as input devices, and they are basically multiple monitors.

The affordable (after some saving up) ones do have low res. I imagine the more exppensive ones (640x480 and up) are fun though.

I''d love to program support for one of those but I don''t have the money.
