justj : LMAO

I would bet taht this is his subject for his next assignement.
This kind of rhetorical bullsh!t is typical from the first years of Philosophy ... to answer, you''d need a nice little assignment.
The answer is : Yes, No, maybe. In this specific order. You can invert Yes and No, putting the one you believe is true last.
youpla :-P

ahw - Don''t tell me they''re teaching bad philosophy in France now too?
And to you and Magmai - well we could start a debate on the proofs of the existence of God... or we could just sing the Monty Python Philosopher''s song.
"It's obvious isn't it Miller? Curiosity killed these cats!"

Philosophy replaced Religion teaching in public schools some, well, a long time ago
Even scientific students have to have 2 hours of Philosophy per week for the Leaving cert (though the value is ridiculous, most of us get something around 30% and don''t fail the Leav Cert).
I think it''s great as it teaches you how to use your brains, sadly most teachers don''t make us understand that, and we feel more like we are wasting time and simply ansking questions that can''t be answered. It took some years to figure out that the asking is the whole point, not the answering. As long as you keep asking yourself questions, you should be OK.
What do we do with witches ?
