Hey pplZ - I''m currently busy with a pretty extension of PixelCore; adding those functions and procedures that are rather uncommon, but make for cool effects and pretty stuff. One of the in-between problems that I''ve discovered is this: adding two 32-bit RGB values Technically it is two ARGB values, but the ''A'' bits may be discounted. Thus we have two 32-bit registers: -empty- | -red- | -green- | -blue- 8 8 8 8 bits that need to be added together, without spilling over boundaries. I think I''ve got a pretty decent solution; but I may have overlooked something (and didn''t even consider MMX) - so if you have a kick-ass assembler solution... please share! thanX!! Hmmm.... there was a article on 2d alpha blending - which is not what you want... :O but it does deal with adding 32 bit RGB values using assembler without slipping over. It also contained some MMX code too.
Something like, ''Enhanced MMX Alpha blending''? I think that''s what I was called.

What should I put here? You tell me.

thanx... uhm... where?

Also... - anybody have an idea how MMX-assembler capable Delphi is??
