Ok, not quite what the forum suggests, but here's my problem: I'm writing a game in Flash and need help with the graphics; the engine is coded (no mean feat in actionscript!) but my artistic skills are just not up to it. I'm afraid that any post here will just disappear under a pile of similar requests for help, so how about a 'help/skills offered' section? I just read the 'I just had to say' post and agree that we (independent game developers) should try to be a little more helpful. One way would be to let everyone know what you can do and how you can help - no more scouring boards or posting hopeful 'please help with x' messages; go straight to the help offered section and find someone who can help! e.g. blinky465 Skills: ASP, VB, Java/J2ME (a bit rusty) Speciality: Flash Actionscript Website: http://www.multiedge-net.co.uk/wally (latest remake) Availability: lets say one night a week, to fit in with my own ongoing project. Anyone else? ps. I need help with vector-based characters for an isometric game and some wild-west themed backdrops. pps. sorry if this has already been suggested; I didn't find it!
