I am thinking out the concept for an online game that I believe would play very differently from any game currently out there. The initial prototype shouldn''t be terribly complex, nor graphically intense, but could be fascinating in how the players cooperate and develop. If anybody here plays online games or has checked some out, I would like to know what they are so I can look at them for comparison to my idea.

Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Tribes, EverQuest, Asheron''s Call, Ultima Online are ones that come to mind.

I am totally addicted to Counter-Strike (A free addon to Half-life). I just love the teamwork, especially when u are on with a m8, and u start working on tactics and working together to kick the Terrorists ass! Its unreal! Any multiplayer game should encourage teamwork and xhat, then it will be addictive

I''m currently developing the client/server code for a massively multiplayer sports game (Can''t say anymore than that some very big media companies are involved). One thing about prototyping... IT''s EVIIIIIIIIIIIIIL! (why do you think I''m at work at 9PM trying to get the damned server code to work?)
After careful deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that Nazrix is not cool. I am sorry for any inconvienience my previous mistake may have caused. We now return you to the original programming
