I am a high school algebra teacher who used to make simple games, wixhed to learn to do fancy games, bought the books, but never MADE the time to learn how to do it. Still, I have MANY ideas for games that would be good for education, they mainly being math oriented. I offer these ideas FREE. You take the idea, create the game, sell it, and make all the money that you can! If you feel like mentioning that the idea came from me, fine, but that's not even necessary. I just feel that today's kids who are so attuned to games just might learn some math concepts better in a game format. Either write to me here or to papillio@juno.com Thanks, Steve Holmes Hiram Johnson High School Sacramento, Calif.

Hey!! For what it's worth, I've had a lot of people who are interested in teaching games, like the ones you're talking about. But they never really have any ideas, so right there you're ahead of the game.

I'm not much on making games myself (newbie and all), but I thought it might help to say: If you know some programming, and want to make something semi-simplistic, you can learn Flash. It's insanely easy compared to the higher-level languages (C++ using DirectX and Java, oh how I hate Java!!!), and can make some pretty good games! Check out Alien Hominid for example, saw it in my game informer magazine, went from a flash game to PS2 and GameCube!

Anyway, I'll do what I can to help :)
