I'm having a bit of trouble with releasing a module once I'm done with it. I release the module using the line: cvs release -f -e modulename This works as it should, deleting all my files and the CVS-system files, but leaving the folder structure intact. But when I go to delete the folders in Windows Explorer it complains that a sharing violation has occured, and when I try to delete it through cmd it says that the folders are in use by another process. I also get an error if I try to release the module using the '-d' flag. My guess is that for some reason CVS isn't letting go of the folders once I've released them but I can't figure out why. Its not that big a deal because I can delete the folders after I restart the machine but I'd really rather get this working properly. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: Not so muched solved as the problem no longer exists. I had tried it several times, but for some reason when I restarted my machine for the twentieth time CVS fixed itself automagically [flaming]. [Edited by - stro on November 1, 2004 5:44:51 PM]
