Hi, I've created a tga file in photoshop, with the transparency option. And when I try to view it, it has a white background where to transparent pixels shoud be. I've created some tga files that actually do have transparent pixels, but now I can't create it with them. I'm not too good with photoshop to know now how to work everything. It's probably something im not doing. Thanks for any help.
You probably mean a transparency map, or alpha values per pixel. If I remember it right, there was a problem in photoshop 6 that made it so the alpha map was not stored with alpha files. And this got fixed in photoshop 7. So you would need to either use a different program, or a newer version of photoshop.

I am using CS the newest version. Maybe they don't work in CS. I do know at work I have 7 and I got it to work.
Oh for the love of God, can we not put those in the FAQ ?
No offense to you andyb, but it's the 716th time I see someone ask about that one. Same with the "how to get alpha channel working".

Please? Someone?
