Is there any way to get DirectInput to tell me (in string format) all the letters that have been entered? right now I'm just using Keyboard states to update my textbox but I don't want to have to make a big switch statement to add all the letters appropriately Thanks in advance, FenixRoA PS I'm 18 as of yesterday ,)

Hi, there is no way to do this other than a switch no.

Atleast, not to my knowledge.

I used the WM_CHAR windows message instead. I can't remember how it works though, but it's much better than using DirectInput for something like that.

Ok thx...

Is it possible to use both DX Input and window messages or do I have to choose one or the other.

How do I poll the window message?

I am using C# btw, so I dunno what WM_CHAR is...
