hello everyone. i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of how to make a web page. i am pretty experience in c++. do you actually program it, or do you design it in a program? are there any good tutorials around? i''m almost done with my first game, and i want to make a web page for it.

HTML is not a programming language, but it is sorta a language. It stands for Hyper-Text Markup Language. Hypertext is links and font, etc. You can also add images... but you know that much. Many people use programs like FrontPage or GoLive to do their web pages, but I prefer to do it by hand. If you know what you are doing, you can get better control in some situations. There are advantages to the programs, however. You can do rollover effects really easily, and even make images fly around the screen by dragging them. The program I use to write HTML (it is a special text editor, not a WYSIWYG editor) is Arachnophilia. Do a search for it... I think the site is still up.

There are tons of resources on the WWW. Just do a search in yahoo on "HTML tutorial".

One of my favorite was htmlgoodies.

Try WWW.WEBMONKEY.COM
They have everything from HTML, to java-script stuff. Don''t have any of my other URL''s here at work.

Also search for a the "Bare Bones Guide to HTML". Don''t have the URL right now either. There is an HTML version and txt version. Not a tutorial, but a REALLY good reference to have on hand.
