Didn't know where else to really put this ceptmaybe in Game Programming.. but just in question, approximently how many hours a week do you guys put into developing stuff for yourself? Like game developing in main question, but anything else related works too?

Well, I'm a game programmer by profession. But I still manage to probably throw in 5-10 hours per week when not in crunch mode. I do a lot of research at home that I can apply at work.

*Yes I am addicted to programming*
do unto others... and then run like hell.

Less then one. I hope I'll have more time soon.

I have no time whatsoever to work on my own projects at the moment. All of my time is taken up by school and work.
I'm learning, just like the best of us...Ok, now assume a spherical cow... :)

6*2 hrs ,weekends really. Rest of my time is spent in doing work+college.

I program for a living. So even though I have spare time left at the end of the day, I usually lack the desire to keep on programming (I prefer to go out/drink/socialize/rot my brain in front of the boob tube). Unless I start working on a personal project I'm really excited about, and then I might find myself doing up to 4 hours a day of work when I get home.

If i'm not at school (in game programming ;)) or not with my girlfriend, the rest of the time i'm working on my projects.

I'm also a addicted programer.
