Well done, good luck in getting into college!

I got my SAT II scores back a few days ago:

Math IIC - 800
Physics - 780
Writing - 610 :)

Also had a 1490 on the SAT I.

I'm tired of people bragging about their high SAT/ACT scores, so I'm posting mine so people feel better: 29.

I never took the ACT. There are like three different tests florida students take (ACT, SAT, and FCAT). I took the latter two. I suspect my SAT scores to be around the same as alot of other gamedevers.

Nice story about something called the "Florida Writes" exam, though. You have something like an hour and thirty minutes to write a 500 word essay on a topic presented from the test book (you aren't aware of the topics until you take the test). It's scored on a 1-6 scale (1 being "suck" and 6 being "caek"). I hated english class (this was 10th grade, btw) and usually made mockeries of all the assignments. My teacher actually told me that I was horrible at english, and I told her it was a stupid class. Well, I got a 6 on the writes exam. She really despised me after that [grin]. And no, I don't know how I pulled off a 6. I wrote some bs about going on a trip with bill gates and asking him "where would you like to go today." Standardized tests are dumb. Meh.

Thats funny. I always wondered who graded those tests. Last time I had to take a standardized essay test the topic was something like "Why is practice important?". Which is a rediculous topic, so I just wrote some utter bullshit about why practice is the most vile and immoral thing a person can partake in. I don't even remember what my score was.

Heh. I think the entire point of those writing exams is to see how much bs you can come up with and make sound good.
