Is it just me or are there no assembly books. Sure Intel has technical docs and there are several online tutorials available, including several on this web-site. But I havent seen any book ! Not in any stores or the Books section of this web-site. Also I havent heard of any books on the subject. Does anyone know of some ? Or why they seem to be rare ? If they exist or they useful ? I know the tutorials explain a lot, but I always like to have a book with me for when I cannot access my computer, i.e. in school, in the bus, etc. and want to brush up on my programming skills.

A great assembler book for learning is Mastering Turbo Assembler by Tom Swan.. It helped me immensely in learining the ins and outs of assembler. But it is getting a bit outdated and is only real mode programming, but as an introduction to the language it is second to none in my opinion.
