I want to search for some MOD files for a game I am writing. The problem is, I don''t know what they call the genre of MOD files I am looking for. I am looking for MOD files like those songs they play in movies when there is a lot of action. Please help me out and tell me the name of that genre, or possibly a website where I can find them.

well, head on over to www.traxinspace.com. I don't think there is an actual genre for the stuff you're looking for, but a look through 'demostyle', 'techno', 'drum & bass', and 'industrial' might yield something along the lines of what you're looking for.

If you could give an example of what you're looking for and get it to me somehow (either through e-mail, ICQ, a post here, whatever), I might even be able to reccommend a specific mod.

Oh, and yeah, do what the guy below says!

Also, just a reminder: If you''re going to be using someone else''s music, ASK them first! Most folks writing mods would be delighted to have their music in any sort of game, but courtesy and legality dictates making sure they''re OK with your using/distributing their music

Can anyone recommend a MOD file that would be suitable to play when the player has won the game; a song that represents victory and triumph?
