openGL and Java

Original Post
i''m about to start my university final year project, and i might be working with openGL and Java. Now, i''m very experienced in ogl programming w/ vc++6, and am starting java, but have never implemented the two together.
where can i get the classes (i guess they are?) or, packages or whatever, for the Java implementation of OpenGL?
how difficult do you think the transition will be from c++ to java? i know how to utilize class structure well, but i''m actually worried about syntax and stuff. would it be necessary for me to have a java reference manual by my side?
thanks.

I believe that Magician is going to become the official OpenGL binding for Java... well, at least the ARB is thinking that way (but don''t kill me if that''s not true, kay
)
Sorry, can''t help with where to find it (i''m not even sure if its a package or whatever myself), but that name might help you in your quest. Good luck with your project

hey, thanks civax. i haven''t had time to fully look into it, but it looked good.
anyway, is this magician free? where can i get it? (i mean, it''d BETTER be free, cuz opengl is free, and java is free. otherwise it''d be like getting a free magazine, but ya gotta buy the polybag.)

I was feeling very charitable today (see: really sick of working
), so I went and found you this veritable cheese-platter of OpenGL bindings for Java.
