Hello I am sure this one is going to be pretty simple. I'd like to know how can I set a fixed icon for my executable file (Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 C++)? Is it something about adding an icon to exec's resources? I'd be thankful for your explenations. :) See ya'

Yes, simply add an icon ressource to your file.

On drawback: Windows/Explorer will choose the icon with the lowest ID to display, so you might have to fiddle with the IDs (i.e. hand-edit resource.h).

Just choose Project->Add Resource, choose "Icon" and then either "Import" an .ico file or "New" to paint it inside VS.
