Windows XP Home. Run Spybot. Spybot finds the same problem every single time: DSO Exploit. DSO Exploit. DSO Exploit. DSO Exploit. It tries to fix it but the thing only comes back. I'll run it tomorrow and it'll find DSO Exploit. What is it? Should I be worried? Anyone know what I'm talking about? 42.

Google sent me herefor removal instructions. Do you have all you software up to date? My guess is that you have a piece of spyware that spybot isnt detecting that keeps installing the exploit.

You could always just deguass your hard drive.

Thanks for the replies. (I wrote it in a haste.)

Yes Windows is all updated. I ran that just now and it didn't find anything but the .Net framework, Journal Viewer, and Outlook Express updates. Nothing critical. I'll follow the instructions you guys found and we'll see what happens. Thanks!

edit: 'Tis gone. I is happy.
