There''s an open source dev tool, but I forgot what''s its called. It might jus be a method, I''ve just heard of it once or twice. SCE or something like that...

Keep verions & build zips of your code daily?
The trade-off between price and quality does not exist in Japan. Rather, the idea that high quality brings on cost reduction is widely accepted.-- Tajima & Matsubara

CVS! CVS! CVS! CVS!

I''ll stop yelling now. CVS is free, open-source, has windows/unix clients and servers, and one of the best, especially for multi-user setups.

The other one I''ve used is Code Co-op from Reliable Software (www.relisoft.com). It seems decent enough. The big plus is that it''s the only decent server-less source control system I''ve seen. Most things like SourceSafe or CVS require a central repository.
