[.net] .net sdk

I have this problem where I installed the .net sdk 1.1 but after a few months I got so much spyware and virues that I decided to run the HP PC SYSTEM RECOVERY program which from what I thought at that time was supposta clean out everything from my computer and make it new again. However there is a problem, it didn't clean everything out it just added the old programs that came with the computer which I had deleted and it did something weird to my computer where all my programs were in the c drive but none of them were installed. The problem is that the .net sdk is still in my computer however, when I try to access the documantation it says I'm missing some files. Now I tryed uninstalling the .net sdk but I cant uninstall it because it says that it isn't installed. What do I do to fix my .net sdk? Does anyone know any way to manually delete all the .net sdk files so I can install it again.

HP System recovery has two modes, a destructive and a non-destructive mode. I've tried using non-destructive before and I ended up with results like yours and had to go for the destructive mode, in which it wipes your drive and reinstalls from scratch. That's probably what you'll have to do.

Is there any way to do this withouth using the distructive mode because I took like 6-7 hours yesterday just adding the windows updates. I don't feel like wasting another 6-7 hours on windows update.
