You know.. On a car. I've been wondering for a while, about the legal issues around them. How much can you customize your registration plate? Can you have anything on it you want? Or how limited it is? For example.. Could I go and buy say.. "JEX MX" legally and use it?

So do plates have to be already made? Or can you have them created for yourself?
