Sourceforge Upload problem

i know password isnt incorrect, because giving that password results in the extra "EPSV not understood." error.

Replace your put line with something like: "put ~/grid/the-grid-0.0.001.src.tar.gz the-grid-0.0.001.src.tar.gz". Notice the non-fully-specified destination path passed as the second argument.

if you look at the output of put it says remote: path/to/file so my cd /incoming doesnt do anything because puts is trying to copy local:/path/to/file to remote:/path/to/file.

the solution is to run ftp from within the directory with the file and supply no absolute paths.
