C++ Programmer looking for project

Hi

Look at www.sourceforge.net, maybe there are projects who need new members too.

Hi, can you give us some more information?

2D or 3D?
Linux, Mac, or Windows?
OpenGL, DirectX, SDL?
Age, Nationality?
Previous Projects?

2D or 3D? err dont bother me can do both, but cant program shaders yet (havent learnt to)

Windows? windows

OpenGL, DirectX, SDL? Directx about 3 years exp, opengl just started using it recently. sdl never touched it

Age, Nationality? 21, british

Previous Projects? due to a hard drive failure i lost a lot of completed work
but i still got a few things lying around still (i hope)

Quake2 Mod - KotsBot - bots that played an offline version of a mod called Kots

Snakey - snake clone

3d level editor - had this at about 85% complete till my hard drive went and the last back up i had of this was at about 40% and aint bothered with it since

that was about a year ago, from then ive just been doing little test apps learning how to do things like constructive solid geometry which i still got that app surprisingly lol.

you've got experience with OO?

see if you like my project, using SDL to make an rpg interpreter binary, to enable people to make rpgs/adventure games by xml files.

RPTD: Try to consider hos big the possibility is that he have been programming 7 years in an OOP language without having any expririence with OOP... (unless OO is some kinda foolish library that tries to pun with OOP)

SKREAMZ: I've been there too, looking for projects. My advice is to look in the forums for people that are searching for programmers, because there are lots of them, and you can immeditaly see if the project is interesting or not. I'd let you join my project, if it wasn't because we're pretty much covering all the task as it is now. Anyways, time to use the forum search function :)

saying this as OOP is not the same as OOP. many think if they know java they know OOP but it's not like that.
