Mythopoea Games Inc is looking for a few programmers for a upcomming title. The indvidual would need some experience in C+ or 3DGS C Script. Interested parties should send a brief email to lostzac@sbcglobal.net, detailing experience, or can go to http://mytopoeagames.proboards30.com/index.cgi , under the Shattered board for more information. Royalty Paid out will be compermised upon how much work is done, and quality of work. Thank you Lostzac

"Royalty Paid out will be compermised upon how much work is done, and quality of work"

And who's going to judge the 'quality of work'?

Somebody who cannot spell 'Comprised'?

Sorry about that, I had thought I had corrected my mistake's. When I posted this, I was looking over the beta release of first game, as well as trying to set up things for the next Release we are planning.

so then, who has the final say on what people get paid?

know who it _should_ be?

Mr. Contract

thats right! =D

cause you don't do anything concerning money without one.

The awsner to the all important question would be decided when the Game Producer, in this case A. Daniel Spencer, has decided the person was worth employment, and the work the invidual would be doing.

From there It would be up to that individual and I to compermise a fair payment plan.

Which would then be followed by a contract :-D

excellent :-)

If you are interested in helping out, then respond here. Anyone else can leave it alone now.

lostzac, you may get more help and more productive responses by posting much more interesting info either here or on your messageboard (which hurts my eyes btw). Also, I would seriously leave out any talk of paying people unless you actually can. You may ultimately have the goal of securing funding and you may be willing to pay people with this funding, but at this time you can not and suggesting you will based on quantity and quality of work is one of the most off-putting things to say and also may land you in legal problems down the line.

Think of it this way; I myself have professional experiance with game development (both programmer and designer) and I have a lot of experiance with 3DGS engine including both scripting and C++ development. Before I apply for your position, what can you use to interest me?

Good luck,

Marc.

Marc,

I thank you for the comments and thoughts, as for the payment part, you are correct, being new to this work, sometimes my drive and determination, pass my sound reason, I thought by posting that would sepearate us from other game companies looking for free work. I am looking for a indvidual who wants to join in this oppertunity, work from the ground floor and belives in the ideals, that this company was founded on.

As for what I may say that may be interesting, How about creative freedom, though there is a ideal to what we are looking for, it has yet to be fully developed and has plenty of room for creative imput, or the chance to work with a upcomming game company with fresh talent, I could say alot of things I guess, the first question I would ask back is what are you looking for ?
