I've heard many people call it Kraft Dinner before, but apparently that's what they call it in Canada and not the states.

Im sorry to tell you this but, Kraft didn't come up with macaroni and cheese.

This thread reminds me when a family friend came to Thanksgiving dinner and brought macaroni and cheese.

Macaroni and cheese is gross. Fettuccine alfredo on the other hand, is good.

Macaroni and cheese can be good. Also, fetuccini alfredo can be bad.

Both are delicious. However, the vast majority of fettucine alfredo's calories come from fat -- most recipes for alfredo sauce call for liberal amounts of whipping cream and butter. Macaroni and cheese is probably a little easier on the arteries.

Personally, when I'm in a hurry for dinner, it's Pasta-Roni all the way. Boil some water and in 5 minutes you have a meal. Yummy.
