i don't understand this...

For some reason I can't access www.navyfield.com, a game I play quite frequently. Everybody else I talk to says that the site is there.. but no matter what browser I use its blocked. I thought maybe it was some of adware/antivirus monitor that might be doing it, so I booted into SuSE linux, and had the same results. I thought maybe it was my router, so I plugged the computer directly into my DSL modem and still could not connect. What the hell?

maybe you did something naughty and they blocked your IP.

It is a very interesting game. The main element the game involves guiding your ship from a top down view. You can control speed and direction of the boat, as well as the direction and angle of your turrets or torpedo launchers. It's all in real time, and the diversity of the game comes from the myriad of different ships available. Levelling up in the game is done from experience earned in battle which goes towards your sailors individually, as your sailors level up you can purchase new types of guns, armor, engines, and fire control systems. You can also choose between different classes and models of ships, which come from either Japan, USA, Germany or the UK (you have to choose one path). Eventually you can work your way up to aircraft carriers with various planes, or battleships with huge guns, etc. Battles can contain up to 128 players on somethign like 6 teams. Currently the game is in beta in the US, so it's free to play, so go try it out!

Anyhow, I can see the website through the proxy, but I still can't connect to the game itself. I can't imagine why I would be blocked.. but I'm not sure what to do.
