Hi, I''m like working on game and I was wondering if everyone could send thier code? ... Does anyone else find those type of request as irritating as I do?
The trade-off between price and quality does not exist in Japan. Rather, the idea that high quality brings on cost reduction is widely accepted.-- Tajima & Matsubara

There is nothing wrong w/ ppl asking for code I don''t think. Although the fact that the request is so general. You''d expect the person to at least look for a specific type of code to do a specific task.

It seems like most of the people who make such a general request, for the code for an entire game, turn out to be aspiring cut-and-paste coders. And then they find out that not even cut-and-paste is as easy as they think if you have no idea what in the hell you''re doing...

Hmm.. that''s pretty negative, sorry. But there are too many people out there that try things like that.

Anti-open source bastards!

If someone asks for code, send that sucker the url to the Tux Racer website. That game''s open source, and has everything a newbie needs to learn: OpenGL, sound, handling player input, timing, collision detection, and a whole lot more. Sheesh, I''m starting to sound like a Linux supporter.
