Thread Bug?

Ok so I was wanting to post some comments in this thread to StormRunner, but everytime I click reply or quote, it takes me back to the GameDev forum listing. This is the only thread that its happening to me on. I'm the the library now and I have yet to have any problems so I was wondering if it is a bug or just this comp. So it does. Displays the link correctly (afaik [http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/post.asp?forum_id=21&method=reply&topic_id=278308]), but when you click it, it jumps to the forum listings.

A thread will be retired after a certain time period of inactivity (2 months I think). This is done to stop people necroing threads as the conversation can become quite disorienting if a long period of time has elapsed since it was acive. I think that's what's happened to that thread - you can generally tell as the thread icon is a little tombstone in the forum list.

It looks like it's a retired thread.

I still think some kind of error page should be shown, though. Failing silently can be confusing.

Ohh I see thanks! I *thought* I saw it on Active Topics, but I guess not.
