Any pointers on how to directly manipulate the color of a surface''s pixels? I''m trying to create textures for Direct3D during run-time. Thanks, Rick

Since you asked I have turboPixels that works on a DelphiX surface, but the same concept should work on any DirectX surface...

There are a few others also...

Hope that helps...

Thanks,

I''m using Delphi 4.0 and pixelcore is the only one that compiles and runs without much modification, I couldn''t get any of the others to compile.

Another question, I have been programming with c/c++ for many years and can do all this things with it, is there a tutorial somewhere on how to use .dlls with delphi created with msvc? I know borland and microsoft use different calling conventions and there might be some other considerations to have in mind.

Thanks,
Rick

Look in the help file for "calling conventions". In there is all the help you need.

Thank you thank you thank you...

It is always great to hear/see ones work in other peoples'' hands. (I''m the author of PixelCore. )

I always find "teasers" mostly annoying... but - I''m nearly finished with the hell the was university (projects) of the last months (been going to bed between 0 and 3am in the last few weeks); though I have been working a little on a pretty extension of the form concept, and hope to actually finalize that work soon.

It uses some "new" coding techniques (new for me anyway) and may prove useful for people who''d like to add some spice to a form. (Completely uninteractive-eye-candy-kinda spice. But pretty nonetheless... )
