Here is a small test of my engine: http://home.comcast.net/~thecoder/game.zip Anyway, post your specs what you get as an FPS (just look in stdout.txt).
[Edited for language.]
EDIT: component msvcrdt.dll or something like that could not be found :/

Duke Nukem is dead
Duke Nuken is forever!!! [lol]
What the point of asking the FPS if you are redistributing a debug build, instead of release build?! Oh and yeah, this is also the reason it asks for MSVCRTD.DLL, and no I don't have it.

ok, try it now. Um... and does the FPS usually change much between a release and a debug version?
Have you compared a debug build and release build? Did you see the difference in the assembly output? Yes there is a change. No matter how good your code is, there will be a change. In debug builds there are a lot of run time checks. Of course, the change is minimal if you are GPU bound and not CPU bound.
~6 fps.
And it is still a debug build...

With MSVC++ 6.0, how do I make it release?
There is a toolbar with a drop down with all build configurations (just add it if it isn't there).
It works on my:
Pentium 4 Prescott LGA775 1MB L2 Cache 3.7Ghz
512MB CL2.5 DDR400 (410Mhz)
GeForce 6600GT (o/ced as well)
But gets <5fps. Something is seriously screwed up with your code if it runs so slow on my system.
