Linker error please help!

I got only this linker error when compiling: [Linker error] undefined reference to `Direct3DCreate9@4' C:\blablabla build error So, could anyone help me thx in advance btw: I use the bloodshed dev cpp, visual studio is too complicated for me and I have already put there on project->parameters->linker box -d3d9.lib...

In dev, its not like visual studio - I think it should be:
-ld3d9

Because Dev uses .a files, not .lib.
