invisible processes

I know, but the process is highly complex. Hiding the process from the start bar is fairly simple. Hiding it completely from detection is quite another thing, and requires some fairly low-level API stubbing and hackery.

However, this is a touchy subject on these forums. Why do you want to do such a thing? Usually, this type of activity is associated with spyware, which is a no-no here.

I assume the original poster simply meant processes that don't have a Window. Just don't create a Window for your process (i.e. for a simple Win32 app, just don't call the CreateWindow function during startup).
