I am looking for some newbie flash tutorials, specifically for animation. the macromedia flash center is a little confusing, becuase i dont know what all of the terms are. thanks for your help.

What a coincidence, I've been looking for theese also :-) and I also looked at Macromedia site and it's one big mess; I've found tutorials but they are really... annoying. Any good links will be really appreciated.

Have you looked at the Flash Kit site yet? They have a ton of tutorials.

im still a little confused about animation. what i want to do is simply, say, make a box move from one side of the scrren to another. what exaclty is this called? tweening? none of the tutorials on the flash kit site seem to help. are there any other good sites? thanks
