Anyone who has seen Napolean Dynamite knows that a liger is a "lion and tiger mixed," and has "great skills in magic." Today I learned that such creatures actually exist. Just as donkeys and horses interbreed to produce mules, which are sterile, lions and tigers in zoos will do the same thing, and the offspring are also sterile. Anyone who hasn't seen Napolean Dynamite needs to get a life right now.

This is beginning to sound like my Computer Engineering class, everyone in that class will just quote Napolean Dynamite out of nowhere, or just keep it along the style of the things he does, it's pretty funny:

Yes. There is also such thing as a Tigon (it depends on the gender of the parents as to whether they're Ligers or Tigons, both having distinct characteristics). And apparently there's also been a Ti-tigon (Tigons are usually sterile, but one Tigon has successfully mated with a Tiger).

They should make a Penguanda {Penguin + Panda}. It'd be the cutest animal on the face of the planet. But it would have to be a baby panda that could only stay a baby forever.

The major difference being that the Liger doesn't have a growth inhibitor, and grow to the size of grizzly bears.

Harold & Kumar was extremely funny in the "this is a stoner comedy ... LOOK! OVER HERE! WE'RE SO HIGH LOL!" kind of way.

Napoleon Dynamite was extremely funny in the "GOSH I'M SUCH A NERD, AND THIS IS THE DRYEST HUMOUR EVER" kind of way.

They're both good comedies. Group hug, guys. <3
