What are screen saver files actually saved as? Are they just executables in a certain folder?

they are here CLIKAY!!! they end in ".src"

The clicky shouldn't work in FireFox. The directory is C:\WINDOWS\system32
EDIT: Wierd... looks like meh clicky isnt working for some reason... oh well...

They are .exe files with a .src extension.
The .exe is programmed to respond in different ways depending on the command line parameter - they'll do one thing for the preview panel, another for when actually running &c.
