This is a pretty wierd question, but then again this is where I ask my pretty weird questions, so what the hell. Anyway, I am constantly flipping my pillow over at night because it always gets hot and I like it cool. Has anyone ever heard of a pillow/pillowcase that stays cool (or at least stays cool longer)? Or perhaps some other solution to this problem?

A jet of cool air from the barely opened window a few inches from my pillow usually does the trick for me.

You could always set up a liquid cooling system. :) Though icepacks would probably work better. I don't know of any pillows designed to stay cool, though.

Oi! I've pondered the exact same thing before. Someone should definately captilize on this; we can't be alone.

Hey! They should make sheets and pillow cases out of that CoolMax material so when it's hot, and you sweat, it will suck the sweat away. Hey, it works for socks.

Am I the only one that didn't sleep through the buckwheat pillow phase?

1. Conforms to your individual body contour even when you move.
2. Gives you firm and continuous support in all the right places.
3. Helps relieve tense muscles and neck and back pain.
4. The buckwheat hulls conform to and support your head and neck
in the most comfortable position while you sleep.
5. A more natural, healthier sleep - tossing and turning is decreased
due to the increased comfort level of sleep they provide.
6. The hulls contract in the heat to allow cooler air to flow within the
pillow.

Polyfill pillows always get too hot, so make sure you don't have one of those.

Could you fit your pillow with a motor that turns it over every five minutes? I'm thinking outside the box here.

I had a buckwheat pillow for about a week. It seemed like the little hulls inside would get compacted pretty easily and the pillow would turn super hard. Maybe some people like wooden pillows but I could never get used to it.

It did stay cool, though.
I like the DARK layout!

If you don't want to pay a cent, move your bed so the head is near a window. Most windows don't do a great job of locking out cold air, so you can use this to your advantage. It can get pretty chilly, however.

Yea, I sleep next to a window, but it kinda stinks having it open cause even tho your pillow stays cool, the rest of the room gets chilly. I've been whining about warm pillows for years since I was a kid [smile] - this chillow thing looks cool.

Errr... bad pun, sorry :P

YES! This has bugged me also, I can't sleep unless on a cool pillow.

In other news, what does not belong in the following picture?

Well I guess he does need the chillow at least.
