Is there some one out ther who could give me some information on creating 2D and 3D garphic games in C++. I have no idea on how to do this as i have been programming in Pascal and wish to change to C++ as i have just joint a game programming clan and we will be programming in C++. So any information would be greatly appresiated. He who controls the past, commands the furture. He who commands the future, conqures the past.

You won''t get an answer to your question if you ask your question in the way you asked it. You''ll have to give more details you want to know. Do you search for books or tutorials on the net. And about what? C++ programming or games programming or graphic programming? A good first look should be here at Gamedev. Have a look at the developer''s resources.

You really should go get some books about Windows and Direct X programming, go check out some book reviews... Andre LaMothe''s "Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus" and "Programming Windows" by Charles Petzold are good choices for a start... Then you need a book covering 3D as well, haven''t found a good one myself yet though... Good luck!

Well, I just bought "Windows game programming for dummies", mainly because I want to get into DirectX. It''s a quite good book (and cheap!!), though it only covers the basics of directX (and unfortunately not Direct3D ). But it may be difficult to use the book if you don''t have any previous knowledge of C++.
