What's a good way for me to get sounds for my game? I need explosions, gun shots, opening and closing doors, monster sounds, etc... I'd like to get my own sounds. Does there exist a free program that allows you to create or edit wavs to get cool sounds? I don't have a microphone here so I'll have to do it by modifying existing wav files. Is there a place where you can download free sound files of good quality? I'd use them as is, or to modify. Most websites with free wavs are very crappy quality tho.
