math functions..

once againg, a very basic question from me :) anyway, some (in fact, alot :D) math functions is making me cofused. "abs", "max" and "min" what is it that these does, and when do I use them etc..

aeww....

abs -> return the positive (integer)

min -> the min of the two numbers

max -> the max of the two numbers

when you begin with geometry you will know...

But then again, self-sufficiency (in the sense that you can find out things by looking them up) is a trait you'd want to develop.

Sure, but:

Why wait 20 minutes for an answer you can find on your own in 20 seconds? It probably takes longer to post the question than it takes to look up the answer.
When the forums are spammed with questions like this, then the more interesting questions get lost in the muck.

MSDN is your friend.....type abs( in .net....cli=ck on it..and hit f1....as for any question on a function etc...its a 3 second answer to your question...learn to use it...its helpful...*smile*
