Maybe we could have a section next to the featured articles that let''s us know what''s in the queue in terms of forthcoming articles. And maybe when they will come out (more or less) so that people stop asking why there are so many gaps between articles.

yeah well I'm still waiting for the Dave Verdict on this one
Actually, now that I think of it, he's probably scared to visit this forum. Betcha he has nightmares of one day coming here and finding hundreds of outstanding requests people want him (and the others) to do to this site.

Actually, I read this right after you posted (I check this forum several times a day). I just tend to not answer when I don''t know what the answer is.
I''m not thrilled with the idea. Besides it being one additional thing I need to do, there are other complications. Usually, when I receive an article, I don''t have time to review it in detail to see if it''s worth posting. It generally then sits in the queue, and when it''s turn comes up, THEN I review it, and possibly reject it. So, there would be a problem of articles suddenly disappearing from the list, but never showing up on the site.
Then there are times that I''ll receive an article that for some reason warrants being posted immediately, which is bound to piss people off who have articles in the queue.
So, really, any list I could put together would be nothing more than a guess.
