Simple Windows programming question?

How do I create a status bar at the bottom of the window (Ex. The display at the bottom of your Internet Explorer). I''m doing a vector collision project for class and I want to display coordinates at the bottom of the window. I couldn''t find anything in MSDN because I don''t know what exactly it''s called. A name so I can look it up on MSDN would be sufficient. Thx.
