Hi everyone I just wanted to ask if there are any new java-programmers here, who would be interested in forming a new team. There are no money involved, this is for thoose who wants to get better at the language/gamemaking in general and have someone to exchange ideas with. Nothing else! Hopefully if we get something done maybe we can start on a "real" game later, who knows. But in the start its just for training/fun. For myself I´ve been programming in Java for about 1 year, and before that in Visual Basic for maybe 2years. Most of the time I usually just play around with the tools and try to learn new tricks. I´ve never done any real attemps to make proffesional games before, just smaller projects like simple puzzles, pacman clones etc. But I know the language pretty well. Just got into 2D game-programming with java2d and I know simple math like collisions, movement, tilemap-engines and such. Also how to communicate with databases (mssql), some networkprogramming, OOP of course and more. Well if it sounds interesting please email me: supernatural_no1@hotmail.com or add me at msn. Hope to hear from some of you soon!

If you mean code written by me, please email and I send it to you (and anyone else who wants to see). I dont have any webspace so I cant put it online, besides its easier if you just email. The demos demonstrates some basic collision detection, character animation, character movement, tilemapbuilding with arrays, mapscrolling etc.
