fullscreen problem

Don't do this. Fullscreen programs interact poorly with certain other programs, such as Zone Alarm. If you make it difficult to switch into and out of your game, the user will become frustrated when his computer crashes because Norton Antivirus updated itself or something like that. I've had this sort of thing happen. You should strive to make it as painless as possible to switch into and out of your fullscreen game because even if you disable the key combos, it will still happen.
Of course i'm not going to make no option to turn off fullscreen. For example in quake3, player could switch to windowed mode by pressing left alt + enter. Disabling alt+tab and alt+f4 was good here coz it is fast game and often player press many keys, so it prevents from accidentaly minimizing game in a middle of combat =]. In my game I also want to prevent player from such things, besides it looks like good trick and I am curious how it was made =)
You would need to intercept the windows messages for the tab and f4 key, and there should be some sort of value attached to it that says if ctrl or alt were down. If alt was down, then just don't do anything.
This is assuming you are using win32, of course. If not please say what you are using.
