Help Me Remember

Original Post
Many years ago, i watched a film and it was awesome but i never kept the name in mind and ive been trying to remember since. Im hoping someone else has seen it and can recall the title. Anyway here are a few of the things i can remember about it: 1.) the central focus is a bunch of kids. LOTS of kids. There are two gangs of kids, and they have a kid war every now and then in some forest type place. The gangs have a guy leader each. They kids were teenagers. 2.) one of the gangs had a tree house base on top of a tree (duh) in the forest. One time their base gets attacked by the rival gang, throwing something i cant remember. Bombs or apples or something. 3.) another scene has the main gang having a party in the tree house base in the forest. During the party, the kids are dancing and the leader starts dancing with his girl. I think this is when they get attacked. 4.) i seem to recall one of the kids driving a tractor in one of the attacks. 5.) the film ends with the leaders of the two gangs climbing a mountain or something. i cant remember. And then somehow they both end up in a clinic reccuperating from some kind of damage. Please help. This film means my childhood.
War of the Buttons, its a good movie,
Now my turn, for years I've been trying to figure out the title of a movie I use to see on TV a lot, it was about some secret agents (a guy and a chick) Bond style, I dont remember much other than the fact that the evil dude had some sort of machine that he used to shrink and "froze" them in some sort of glass jars kind of like bonsai kittens, I think its a seventies movie, no one has ever been able to tell me what its the title.

Oh guys!! thanks a lot. It IS war of the buttons.
(now to find a dvd place that doesnt do only new films unlike blockbuster)
Kwizatz: i cant help you so much seeing as your film is from the 70s and i wasnt even born.
Heres clues though:
1.) Guy and girl spy team? would that be some french series which could have had a movie. Man from U.N.C.L.E ? or perhaps Woman from U.N.C.L.E
Man/woman from U.N.C.L.E was one of my favourite shows growing up.
Oh Gosh the memories :~(
2.) Also sounds like the Avengers. Emma peel and some other british guy.
While we're guessing stuff. I'm also trying to remember:
1.) A french cartoon in english. It had a character that was a bird/duck/something inside a half hatched egg. The top half of his shell still rests on top of him covering top half of his body. I dont think this was the main character though.
I think i can also recall a jingle of some sort. I think the theme song was "Alfred is so merry. so very very merry"
2.) Some film where this kid goes to boarding house somewhere. He and a friend sneak out of the bedroom after lights out and go cooking in the kitchen. One scene also has them peeking at the only girl in the boarding house and describing her chests as 'pointy boobs' PB.
Dont you love this? It seems to be television and movies particularly, where a small piece is remembered from early childhood and it just drives you nuts.
I remember from ages 16 to 18 I was constantly rummaging through the VHS tapes (we have probably 300 VHS tapes full of movies in closets and baskets) because I suddenly had a flash memory of someone in a desert with a weird contraption on his face(Dune) or a guy and an alien living on a barren planet(Enemy Mine) and I had to find out what the hell it was that was so weird that at age 2 or 3 it forged a permanent memory of sorts.

I've got one.
There was this class of students who lived on, what I think was earth, but is was kind of post apocalyptic (think Mad Max). The sun never came out. There was this one kid in the class who everyone picked on. One day they locked him in the closet and left him there all day. Of course that was the day the sun came out. Everyone felt bad. Teacher scorned students. *Cue Credits*
It might not have been a movie, maybe like an after-school-special. I think I remember watching it in school.
Anyone?

Oh I remember reading the short story of that in school! I didn't realize they made a movie out of it.
Edit: Sorry, I have no idea what it was called.

Me either, I am a lates 70's child, proud of being as old as Star Wars: a New Hope, but when I was a kid there was no cable and local broadcasting networks took their sweet time broadcasting stuff, I saw that in the 80's, most likelly between 1984 and 1988, it did looked 70'sh maybe even 60's, like the Batman TV show.

Could have been, I dont know if it was a TV series movie, it was broadcasted as a movie, is there an Advengers movie other than the one with Uma Thurman?
I remember the guy (or some guy in it) had a trick shoe that fired a dart sort of thing. I sometimes wonder whether or not I imagined it.

Never saw the movie of it, but it is based on a Ray Bradbury short story. There's your lead. Fetch!:)
A movie that I can't remember was about these kids during the wintertime. They had this huge fort made out of snow and they'd have fun times in it. There was a secret passageway in the snow fort hidden by a carpet or something. Watched it in the late 80's/early 90's.
