Original Post
Does this seem over priced to anyone? It took me about 5-10 minutes to learn to read a micrometer accuratly. Is there something really complicated I may not know about the micrometer? Can I use it to measure the mass of venus or something? I feel sorry for anyone who paid for that. You would be better off getting a micrometer or 2 and just reading the manual. http://primetechnology.net/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=23&cat=Tech+Measurement Reading the Micrometer unit price: $79.95 ea. product code#: 510 This program teaches students how to read a standard and vernier micrometer. Windows CD ROM. Oh, I really like this one: Measurement: Reading the Ruler unit price: $79.95 ea. product code#: 230 This software introduces the student to taking measurements with a standard ruler. The program includes student worksheets and an instructor's guide. I must be missing something obvious about this site, but I cannot put my finger on it.

Could be real - judging by the amount of error analysis and so on we have to do when reading our rulers here.
What's an "English" measurement as opposed to a metric one? We use metric measurements in England...
Knowlege is power? So I guess it's a small price to pay for power...? [lol]

How many people is that?
What I find interesting is that the micrometer kit does not actually include a micrometer.
