[java] Help - Installing VE (Visual Editor) on Eclipse

To install the EMF (for example), you will have to unzip the files to your eclipse plug-in directory. Be careful to check which relative path is used inside the zip-file!
For example, if the files in the .zip-file are all in a path "eclipse/plugins/", you will have to unzip the files to the parent of your main eclipse directory (and if that does not happen to be named "eclipse", you should first unzip the contents of the file to any directory (call it "MyDir" for the moment) and then copy the plugins-folder of MyDir (MyDir/eclipse/plugins) to your main eclipse plug-ins folder).
I don't know VE, so this might indeed be the only way to install it, but in general, you could also use Eclipse's update feature to update installed features or install new features over the internet. Check for install details on the VE page.
