Is it possible to use the CreateWindow API to create a button or listbox for example in Visual Basic 6? If so, how can it be done?

Well, I don't know about CreateWindow, but you could take a look at this, I believe it does what you want (allows you to create controls at runtime). The second method discussed in that article is better by the way, but some people apparently find the first simpler to understand.

Yes, but it's not recommended. You can write 'declare' statements for dll functions, and I believe CreateWindow is in user32.dll. This is difficult to do correctly.
