I have recently come across the problem of doing splines in D3D. I have heard it was possible to do such a task, however, it required me to calculate them myself. Do they mean calculate each voxel? If you believe this would take me too much time to do an you think I should do it in OGL, could you please send me a snipplet of code that will start up GL? For some reason my code works very very slowly and I can''t understand why. #2, If I have to use GL, is there any way of using DDraw for 2D rendering? Preferibly I would like to keep everything in DX but if this isn''t possible could you let me know before I get myself in too much trouble. Thanx Be kind to your wives and girlfriends by leaving the breast and thigh examination to Colonel Sanders!!!!

Two possible solutions.

1) Wait for DX8, which IIRC has support for curved surfaces.
2) Write your own tessalator to convert splines into a series of short lines and surfaces into tri-meshes.

Thats about it. If you need info on how to do tessalators then mail me (or go look it up).
