I am using DX7 with MSVC++. My program was working fine until I clicked build->rebuild all. Now it comes up with 5 really wierd errors, which seem vaguely familiar. Here they are: D:\STYDX7IN24\Source\Hour 12\d3dutil.cpp(59) : error C2039: ''dwSize'' : is not a member of ''_D3DDeviceDesc7'' d:\MSSDK\INCLUDE\d3dcaps.h(387) : see declaration of ''_D3DDeviceDesc7'' D:\STYDX7IN24\Source\Hour 12\d3dutil.cpp(60) : error C2039: ''dtcTransformCaps'' : is not a member of ''_D3DDeviceDesc7'' d:\MSSDK\INCLUDE\d3dcaps.h(387) : see declaration of ''_D3DDeviceDesc7'' D:\STYDX7IN24\Source\Hour 12\d3dutil.cpp(60) : error C2228: left of ''.dwSize'' must have class/struct/union type D:\STYDX7IN24\Source\Hour 12\d3dutil.cpp(61) : error C2039: ''dlcLightingCaps'' : is not a member of ''_D3DDeviceDesc7'' d:\MSSDK\INCLUDE\d3dcaps.h(387) : see declaration of ''_D3DDeviceDesc7'' D:\STYDX7IN24\Source\Hour 12\d3dutil.cpp(61) : error C2228: left of ''.dwSize'' must have class/struct/union type As you can see I am using d3dutil.cpp. I realize that this may be a linking error, but I can''t figure out what it is (stupid me. Does anyone here have a clue what could be causing these errors (or at least a wild guess might help)? Make sure you''re #including all your header files and telling the compiler where to find the DirectX libraries.
-----------------------------C++ is great, but when is B-coming out?

Thats the wierd thing. I haven''t changed any of my includes or including libraries, and then when I went build->build all the 5 errors came up.

The D3DUtil functions don''t require any extra libraries do they?

Isn''t there some #define statement you can put in front of the includes the control the header files? I had that trouble with d3dutil, but not with the same functions or anything. Just athought.

Oh well, Whatever, Nevermind

Do you mean:

#pragma once

It is in there. Is there some other #define thing that I missed?
